The Museo della Specola is part of the Department of Physics and
Astronomy and of the Athenaeum Museum System (SMA) of the Alma Mater · University of Bologna.
It is housed in the Specola,
the astronomical tower built in the beginning of 18th-century
over Palazzo Poggi, the University palace (see map).
